What’s happening right now in the country is almost too big and scary to face—and even scarier to think about how to push back. Activism is a bridge to saving democracy, and even the smallest act will help you feel better.

  1. Learn more.
    Join a group of like-minded citizens. You can do it safely from home until you are more comfortable.
    • Indivisible hosts weekly Zoom meetings that are helpful to hear what progress is being made across the country. Click here to join and register for these meetings.

    • Gain a foundational knowledge of American constitutional democracy while crafting your own civic voice and identity by attending Harvard’s We the People: Civic Engagement in Constitutional Democracy Course. Click here for more information.
  2. Act more.
    Once you are feeling braver or more committed, move to action.
    • Join your local 50501 action group. This is a new activist group that began in February of this year. Find a group near you. Click here.
    • Sign up for Chop Wood, Carry Water. You will receive a daily email with good news and ways to get more involved. Click here.
